Hot water breaks down elasticity and fit over time.
2. Use gentle detergent
Choose a liquid, enzyme-free detergent.
Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, or powder formulas — they can damage the fibers.
Ideal: sport-specific or delicate detergents (e.g. Woolite, Nikwax BaseWash, Ecover Delicate).
3. Turn inside out and wash separately
• Turn garments inside out before washing.
• Do not wash with zippers, Velcro, or rough fabrics — they can cause pilling or snags.
• Wash separately from cotton or towels to avoid lint.
4. No tumble drying or spinning
• Do not tumble dry or machine spin.
• Gently squeeze water by hand (no twisting), then lay flat to dry in the shade.
• Avoid direct sunlight and radiators — heat damages elasticity.
5. No ironing. No dry cleaning.
• Should never be ironed — high heat can melt the fibers.
• Professional dry cleaning is too harsh — stick to home care
